Includes a high resolution film scan, image cleanup and color correction*, two identical 8” x 10” color proofs, archiving the image for future use, and 1 finished Énorme Grand sheet (49" x 70" sheet size)  of the final image plus  “Certificates of Authenticity“.

*Minor clean-up of any scanned transparency is included at no charge. If clean-up becomes excessive, we will contact you with an estimated cost. Retouching or image manipulation of a digital file is priced at $25 per quarter hour in 1/4 hour increments.

Custom Finishing

Brush Stroke Finish

A brush stroke coating can be hand applied to your canvas prints, simulating the look of an original oil painting. This very durable finish is accomplished by detailed application and buildup of a clear acrylic gel. The brush stroke finish is available on all of our canvas choices. Call for a quote.

Deckled or Feathered Edge

On most of our papers we can produce a feathery edge similar to that found on handmade and mouldmade paper. The deckled edge can be at the outside of the paper's white space (border) or can bite into the edge of the image, creating a stunning effect when the print is floated. Add $10 per print.

Giclee Mini's™

Miniature versions of your giclee artwork. These promotional pieces include your name, title of the artwork with copyright notice and contact information. Great as a "leave-behind" at galleries, shows, festivals, client mailings and client hand-outs. Each printed master sheet provides 66 (4"x5") prints on the same paper your full-size prints are produced on. Prices below are for images that have already been set up.

Heritage XG™   Exhibition Quality Black & White Printmaking

 For black & white or limited edition prints with incredibly rich tonality. We have developed a proprietary process which extends the range of our printers way beyond the conventional or quad black printing methods other printmakers use. Traditional black & white digital printmaking methods require processing a grayscale digital file containing 256 shades of gray including white & black. This is either sent to a color printer which can produce mixed results, or is sent to a printer containing multiple concentrations of black inks, which produces better results. Heritage XG™ utilizes a digital file containing nearly 1,800 shades of gray, producing a smooth, even tone and striking detail. We print this on one of our fine art papers or even canvas. Recommended for photographers & for artists who create with graphite, charcoal, or pen & ink. Call us for a quote on your custom project.

If you want to preserve & protect your creations 35mm slides won’t do the job. Artists who have records of their work in 35mm are often surprised to find that their film has deteriorated after just a few years. And slides do not contain enough picture information to produce high quality reproductions.

Heritage Legacy Archives™  are produced using the same museum quality digital process we use to make Heritage Giclees® using professional photography, high density scanning & processing to produce reproduction quality digital files. We then preserve these files on a gold CD or DVD. The files are suitable for lithography, digital printing, promotional materials, & we also provide an “internet ready” version for your website. Canvas Stretching

We can stretch your giclees and ship you the finished product ready to stick in a frame. The stretched pieces are carefully packed in reusable packaging. Call for quote.

Shipping Information

Both domestic & international shipping of finished prints & originals will be via Federal Express 3-day Express Saver service. FedEx provides superior handling, trackability & signed-for deliveries. Call for information & Pricing.  (Note: all proofs are sent via USPS first class mail unless otherwise specified)

General Information

When sending original artwork for direct scan extra charges will apply. Call for information.

Multiple copies of the same image can be printed on a sheet at no extra charge.

When figuring image size for your giclees, sizes are scaled in proportion to the aspect ratio of your original artwork.

Payment is required when you place your order. We accept check, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

On new image set-ups (single orders of up to 10 images) please allow 11-14 working days from the date we receive your order to the ship date of your first proofs. Once we receive proof approval, shipment of your finished print(s) included in the set-up will occur about 8 working days thereafter. 

When you are ready to re-order - Please allow 7-10 working days from the date that we receive your order. 

Rush orders are available for your convenience. Extra charges apply for rush orders...call for information.

We also offer design services, consulting, and collaborative printmaking. If you have a special project we would welcome the opportunity to assist you.

*Important information about canvas coatings?
It is absolutely essential that canvas giclee prints have some form of protective coating applied to them. A proper coating not only protects the print from abrasions, dirt and harmful U/V rays, but it will enhance the colors and depth of the piece as well. Be aware that many neophyte giclee printing companies do not apply a finish coat to their canvas giclee prints at all, claiming that it is not necessary with their prints. This is absolutely false, and the truth is that most of them don't want to make the substantial investment in equipment that is necessary to topcoat their prints. Our Heritage Giclees on canvas are treated with a specially formulated fine art coating that we co-developed with ClearStar Coatings Corp. This fine art product eliminates the problems typically associated with other coatings such as cracking, yellowing & inconsistent texture. Heritage Giclees on canvas are available with a gloss, satin, or low luster finish.

Limits of Liability:
Submission of any materials such as film, photos, digital files or original artwork to Staples Fine Art constitutes an agreement by the client that any damage or loss incurred will only entitle the client to replacement with a like amount of raw materials, unexposed film, or digital media. Except for said replacement, our acceptance of the artists images and materials is without warranty or liability.
